From Picasso’s performing arts workshop we are participating in the international project The Coronavirus Time Capsule, developed with students during this period of confinement.
The project has been created by Company Three as a creative response for young people during this period of confinement. Company Three is a London-based youth theater company. The company offers teenagers a space to tell their own stories and create their own change.
The project is a weekly response to the pandemic, through the eyes of young people around the world and using the performing arts and new technologies. Here is the link of the website of Company Three, UK with a more detailed explanation of the project.
Each participating group creates and distributes its own Time Capsule.
The sessions on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. are used to work on this project and in the next session students are introduced to the project, how it works and how their participation is being done.
The project is led by Laura Gisela García, trainer in Arts in CreaNova and Mireia Asensio, teaching collaborator at the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona.
