As every year at this time, the students of the 2nd year of Baccalaureate are presenting their Research Projects.
The presentation and oral defense of the RP is the end of a long journey that begins in the 1st term of the 1st year of Baccalaureate with the choice of the topic, the structure of the work, the approach of the hypothesis, etc.
As mentioned in the Baccalaureate curriculum: Research project (…) is a resource with which the student can apply and contextualize their learning and, fundamentally, develop general skills for research, argumentation and the expression (…) The aim of the project is for students to start certain procedures, and to do so in areas of research that may be different from those where they acquired them, delving into some topic of interest that is within their reach.
If we start from the premise that one of the fundamental pillars of the methodology at CreaNova is ‘learning by Doing’, through the elaboration of the RP we can make a good assessment of the acquisition of the skills that the project requires.
We talked about Genetics and mutations in reptiles, The stock market, Consumers and consumerism, Racism, Comparison of educational methodologies, Deafness and blindness, The world’s largest Rubik’s cube, Equine therapy, Stop Motion, Applications and launchers, On-line shops… a lot of very interesting topics and proposals, which have highlighted the effort, motivation and deepening achieved in research, both in the presentation of the theoretical framework and in the fieldwork and above all, making an analysis of the difficulties they have encountered along the way and how they have overcome them.
Congratulations girls and boys! You did a great job! Thanks to you and the guidance of the teachers, we have continued to grow in learning and knowledge… YOU make things happen!!
