A few days ago we invited Sergi Hernández, an experienced architect, expert on history of architecture, to teach our students the fundamentals of art.
We talked about the meaning of architecture, design and urbanism.
Where do we live? What is our relationship with the cities? Do we want dense neighborhoods with vast empty spaces or do we prefer a city where all its members are in relation to each other?
Students described and analyzed famous buildings of the XXth century using Google 3D maps. They had the chance to understand buildings as a part of a great urban design.
Through this talk, Artistic Baaccalaureate students were one step closer to professional and university life, listening and understanding design by a professional’s words.
Thank you Sergi!
