The passat dimecres will attend the lliurament of premises of the Contest that celebrates the University of Vic I will be able to see some exciting moments.
It will be an event in hybrid format that will bring together more than 600 people simultaneously between the Aula Magna and the Zoom and YouTube platforms. The contest was organized by the Faculty of Sciences and Technology through the scientific dissemination program Science and Society, with the objective of awakening interest in scientific literature in adolescents. In total, 86 stories from young people in the third and fourth years of ESO from 19 secondary schools in all of Catalonia will compete in the competition.
In the edition of this quest any the contest starts from the reading of the book The crims of the periodic bullfight (Santillana, 2019) by Xavier Duran and Jordi de Manuel, to propose two ways of relating that students could choose from. In the first, it is proposed to write an alternative ending to the novel, with new clues related to the periodic table of the elements appearing. In the second fashion, the boys and girls have had to pose in the film of Malik, protagonist of the original book, and become journalists to write a complete article, also related to the newspaper magazine, which is Pogue to publish The newspaper tells Clara, another of the protagonists.

The awarding process of the prizes is divided into two different parts, one for the third and the other for the fourth. The award ceremony will include the presence of the vice-rector of Research and Knowledge Transfer of the UVic-UCC, Jordi Collet, as well as the authors of theThe crims of the periodic bullfight. Students will be able to interact with writers through Zoom in an open dialogue, where they will discuss questions related to narrative and science. The sessions will be led by the coordinator of the Science and Society program, Professor Julita Oliveras.
The professor and the rest of the educational community that makes up CreaNova have many contents for this success and encourage them to continue working from practice, concern and occupation to our students.
