A few days ago we invited Sergi Hernandez, an experienced architect, expert in architectural history, to consolidate the foundations of art.
We talk about the meaning of architecture, design and urban planning.
Where do we live? What is our relationship to cities? Do we want dense neighbourhoods with vast empty spaces or do we prefer a city where all its members are in relationship with each other?
Students described and analysed famous buildings of the 20th century using Google 3D maps. They had the opportunity to understand the buildings as part of a larger urban design.
With this talk, the artistic baccalaureate students have taken a step towards professional and university life, listening to and understanding design from the words of a professional.
Thanks Sergi!
