Who said that in the summer it is not possible to continue learning? Who say that 'learn' is adorrit?
Just look at the faces of the boys and girls who have taken part in the CreaNova Summer Campus...faces of curiosity, shining eyes, awakened minds and dreams from ear to ear...what a great time we've had!
Cooking is easy! - Cooking is easy!
The first week we were able to make some really good recipes, learning about the best combination of foods, their energy value, their composition, the correct nutritional balance of a diet, etc. With the collaboration of MyGranChef we prepared a lot of different dishes: hummus of beetroot, mandonguilles with cream of peaches and peppers, guacamole, 'poached' ous, pa d'anous, fruit smoothies...millefeuilles of madouxes with pastry cream...all delicious!
Dancing is great fun! - Dancing is great!
The second week has been dedicated to Musical Theatre with a small show inspired by the book ¨Les girafes no poden ballar¨ by A. Giles. Giles. Associating the music to the different parts of the story and focusing on the type of atmosphere that existed. We have been interchanging the papers and together we have interpreted the different animals and we have danced different styles: waltz, rock'n'roll, tango, txà-txà-txà and even a traditional Scottish ball!
We have enjoyed the quality and energy of the moments we have seen, full of lightness, elegance, flexibility and fun.
Also, together we have prepared the sets and costumes, as well as the make-up... what a lot of creativity!
With the performance of the show for families we enjoyed a great premiere on stage!
How to mix Robotics and Permaculture? - How to mix Robotics and Permaculture?
During our last summer camp we made the most of the fusion between permaculture and technology. We have created different types of watering systems (by capillary irrigation with branches or teles, by evaporation, different pressures, etc.), and we have put them into practice, placing them in our vegetable garden. Incredible and effective!
Together we have created the space for our planting season in the afternoon, we have cleaned and tilled the different areas. We have also made use of Leonardo Da Vinci's engineering to build a bridge at the entrance to the garden!
Talking about plants, we have seen how we can grow a new one from a small part of the original plant.
From coding we have made designs of robots and sowing machines and for automatic slaughtering...a great experience!
We have marked the path for the 'climbing' plants and we have been able to see the qualities of the aromatic plants, including lavender...what a great smell!
I...finalment...hem menjat tomàquets...de la planta al plat...quin luxe!
A wonderful week! And watering the plants...we have also watered ourselves and so we have been very fresh!
A good sample of this great start of the summer with the Campus that we have celebrated you have it through these nice and funny pictures...Thanks to all of you for your participation. A GOOD SUMMER TO ALL OF YOU!
