AFA CreaNova

AFA CreaNova is much more than an association: we are a meeting point between families and the school, working together to make the educational stage of our children an unforgettable and enriching experience.

What do we do at the AFA?
AFA CreaNova is the link that connects families with the school. We are responsible for fostering proper, clear and constant communication between all members of the educational community. At the same time, we carry out various initiatives that support both pupils and families.

Among our actions, the following stand out:

• Regular meetings with the management to share suggestions and needs.
• Organisation of leisure and solidarity activities and training workshops.
• Collaboration with the school library and in welcoming new families.
• Solidarity that crosses borders:
  One of the most exciting projects we have launched is the collaboration with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation to build a school in Kotakonda, India. Thanks to our collective efforts, last year we managed to raise almost 1,000 euros and sponsor 14 children, giving them access to quality education.

Projects for the 2024-2025 academic year:
For this academic year, we have prepared new proposals to continue contributing to this solidarity project:

• Mercats solidaris.
• Curses benèfiques.
• Cultural workshops on the region where the school is being built, with the aim of making our children aware of other realities.

The participation of families so far has been spectacular, and we are proud to see how we work together towards a common goal. These activities are a fantastic opportunity to show our children the value of solidarity and the positive impact they can have on the world.

Educational workshops and novelties:
This year we also put emphasis on organising workshops for families and students, which will deal with important topics such as sexuality and social networking sites. These sessions are designed to offer useful tools and help us to better face our daily challenges.

As a novelty this year, from the welcoming committee we want to promote family meetings and excursions. These activities will be an excellent opportunity to get to know each other better, create bonds and, above all, have a good time together.
