CreaNova School: renovated spaces for the learning of the future

The refurbishment project transforms CreaNova School into a modern educational environment adapted to the needs of the 21st century.

With an investment of over 2.5 million euros, the CreaNova School renovation and expansion plan is committed to creating spaces that encourage creativity, collaborative learning and contact with nature. This project, which will be carried out over three years, aims to enrich the educational environment in order to respond to the needs of the future.

The Baccalaureate building has undergone significant transformations, such as the incorporation of the new Quimilab, a 100 m² laboratory fully equipped for 24 students, and the updating of the Tecnolab, a 200 m² space dedicated to computer science and robotics, which has 23 latest-generation computers and specialised software for 3D printing and programming.

In addition, the first floor has been renovated, creating a 110 m² teachers' lounge with 30 workstations, a meeting room and a rest area. This area is directly connected to a new study room, where students can study or relax. A few steps away, the squares corner has been set up, designed to encourage skills such as concentration, problem solving and logical thinking.

On the ground floor, two new high school classrooms have been built with ergonomic and aesthetic furniture that optimise both the functionality and appearance of the spaces. A new visual and plastic arts classroom has also been inaugurated, equipped to stimulate creativity in the arts.

The high school students now have an independent access, located in a landscaped area that is currently being renovated. This area will have areas for rest and leisure in the open air, promoting a closer link with nature.

In terms of sports infrastructures, the football pitch has been conditioned with a layer of sand to improve its durability and make it easier to use in different weather conditions. The dining room has also been modernised with renewed furniture and lights that add warmth to the space. In addition to an area with water fountains and recycling bins, making it a space that promotes healthy eating and a sustainable approach.

The academic management now has a new work and meeting room, while the executive management has two additional offices for administrative management and communication, thus improving efficiency and collaboration between departments.

These reforms complement those carried out last year, such as the digital music room and the podcasting space, reflecting CreaNova School's commitment to cutting-edge education and to the values of innovation, creativity and sustainability that define its identity.
