Although every day is different, over this first decade, there are many memories and emotions that keep repeating themselves.
The alarm clock rings, and the fatigue is evident, but the excitement is stronger. After months of intense preparation, adjusting spaces, materials, and endless meetings, everything is ready. Today is the day.
The September sun casts its first shadows over the “hill,” where birds sing and life unfolds. As we stroll and check that everything is in place, we notice insects, a shed snakeskin, and rabbit burrows that are already familiar with the garden.
Starting today, a group of boys and girls will have to learn to share this space, without disrupting the life that you have already established yourself. This hill will become a symbol of the school, transforming over time, just like the people who live in it.
Excitement fills the hearts of the educators. The doors open, and there they are: children, families, and educators, united by a shared vision and enthusiasm. They seek a place to learn, grow, and innovate coherently, forming a pluralistic and nature-respecting school community.
The morning unfolds with arrivals and departures, clever questions, and natural moments of tears and laughter. Far from being uncomfortable, these moments are opportunities to build through dialogue, with commitment and respect. These vibrant spaces, though complex, are rich with possibilities and experiences, requiring reflection, creativity, and constructive criticism.
Today, ten years later, we celebrate the strength and commitment that brought us together. CreaNova continues to open its doors each day with the same enthusiasm and energy as that September in 2015.
Congratulations, CreaNova School!
