A year and a half ago, a group of families acquired the CreaNova College and began a thorough renovation of the educational center, an institution that had earned a prominent place in the field of education for its innovative approach based on methodology Learning by Doing (learning by doing). This methodology encourages the active participation of students in their learning process, allowing them to experiment, research and build their knowledge through practice and reflection.
The acquisition of the school brought with it important changes in the management and direction of the institution. H. Piqueras took over the position of CEO, leading a new stage for the school, accompanied by a management team made up of Claudia M. Garcia As general manager, Veronica Mena as CFO, Silvia Benítez as academic director, Cassandra Benalcazar as academic secretary and Juan Pedro Chuet-Missé as Marketing and Communications Director. Together, this team has been responsible for implementing an ambitious reform plan that aims to adapt the school to the educational demands of the 21st century.
An ambitious and visionary reform
One of the first steps taken by the new management was to undertake an extensive renovation of the school facilities.
Estimated to last three years, the works will not only modernise educational spaces but also transform them into environments designed to foster creativity, collaboration and active learning.
The total project involves an investment of 2.5 million euros, reflecting the commitment to create an environment that promotes educational innovation and is up to the challenges of the future.
New name and image
The change in management also brought with it a transformation in the school's identity. CreaNova College was renamed CreaNova School, with the aim of strengthening its international character.
This new name is not just a name change, but a reflection of the multicultural reality of the institution: the teaching team is made up of professionals from more than 10 nationalities, and the students come from 20 different countries.
This international character enriches the educational experience, creating a diverse and global environment that prepares students for an increasingly interconnected world.
A logo full of symbolism
The makeover includes a new logo designed by the studio Lemon Green. This visual representation is not just a graphic emblem, but a reflection of the educational philosophy of CreaNova SchoolAccording to the study, “the logo is inspired by two key elements: the bridge and the rainbow.”
The bridge symbolizes the path that children take towards personal growth and the acquisition of autonomy, while the rainbow represents the vibrant and dynamic spirit of childhood: full of courage, curiosity and joy.
Each color has a meaning in this representation: red symbolizes passion, orange creativity, yellow joy, green growth, blue intuition, and violet emerging wisdom.
These values are the pillars on which the school's pedagogical approach is based, which seeks to educate students who are well-rounded, curious and prepared to face the challenges of today's world.
In addition to including clearer typography, the phrase '10 years' is added to the school's motto 'Learning by Doing', to remember the first decade of life and the roots of this educational project.
