A very fun and interesting few days, full of adventures and new discoveries thanks to the celebration of the 2nd Science Week and the 1st Virtual Science Fair.
Taking a quick tour we have investigated from the youngest to the oldest How to launch rockets, why do they fly? airplanes, volcanic eruptions etc., passing through chemical reactions, the shadows and the light, Newton, the apple and the gravity, until reaching the origins of the earth through a beautiful online exhibition of minerals from Ecuador, or a 'Pasapalabra' that has tested our knowledge about the women and science and be able to discover the beauty of 'Bioart'!
We have also had interesting talks by two mothers from the school, specialists in Genetics and Neuroscience (thanks Sonia and Erika!); a grandfather who is a geologist (thanks Diego!); a sister who has transported us to the reality of research and laboratories (thanks Irene!); an uncle who has brought us closer to the reality of Covid-19 through Fake News (thanks Gerard!); and also our thanks to Dr. Clara Weisweiler, with the talks to raise awareness about the health and social situation through the Fundació de La Marató.
Finally, the 1st Virtual Experiment Fair It has been a great success and has allowed us to do 'science as a family'!
Enjoy the images and videos of some of the most exciting moments of this week!
