The Middle School students have had a jump in the weather and, as soon as they enter the Monestir de Sant Cugat, they have been magically transformed into inhabitant monks of that medieval period.
We have traveled through the countries, we have connected who are their habits and customs, we have finished everything, we are ready to write with all of them! It has been a wonderful experience, full of emotions and learning:
More than 900 years since the first esment in the town of Sant Cugat. In 1120 Pope Calixte II confirmed the monastery of the six owners, among them the village. It signified the birth of Sant Cugat as an urban phenomenon. From the aleshores Sant Cugat has passed a small village and spent in it has led to a city of services in a global world.
With a transversal project, the areas of connection dealt with have been CM Social and Cultural, Geography, History, Art, Technology, Language, Costums and traditions.
Look at the most beautiful images…monks, the cloister and the great rose that identifies our Monestir!
