Our Middle stage, the end of the Elementary years (5th and 6th grade) and the beginning of High school (ESO1), is carefully organized so that the transition is smooth and natural for our students.

During this stage they undergo many changes, our main goal is to support them in this delicate phase. As pre-adolescents they can be particularly fragile socially and emotionally, in connection with their physical changes too. We pay specific attention to this side of their development through observation, listening and specific moments during which the children express their concerns, worries, ideas and make suggestions for improvements.
The students are exposed to interesting and engaging workshops that connect with the reality of the world around them. They develop communication skills as well as entrepreneurial initiative and knowledge. The arts are cultivated through music, art and creative workshops that extend and become more specific and specialized as they grow.
The students are given more and more responsibilities and independence. They learn how to manage their time and be more and more efficient during the workshops.
There is a strong emphasis on developing the children´s ability to express themselves verbally and use critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The older students of this stage are introduced to new workshops that are part of the High stage for them to integrate little by little into the new dynamics.
However, the Middle groups share several moments, such as fieldtrips, residential trips and special workshops.
The most important factor remains the Individualized attention and support that they receive from their tutors and teachers.
