On June 10, a group of 20 students, aged 13-14, were scheduled to visit us. a school in Denmark, Druestrup Friskole, with two of his teachers.
They were going to spend 5 days in Barcelona and wanted to spend one of them getting to know CreaNova. Our Hawking students have been exchanging emails since the beginning of the second semester to get to know each other and to think of activities to do with them when they come. For example, of course, a typical local meal.
This physical visit will not be possible in June. There is talk of resuming it in October. But what they have been able to do is get to know each other, via Meet, in the RadioNova sessions.
The 20 students of Druestrup Friskole and their teacher, Trine, and the 20 students of Hawking and Cristina, their tutor and English teacher, connected and met their penfriends. After a general dynamic with questions like How old are you? either What is your hobby? Each person answered on a piece of paper and showed it on the screen. They then organized themselves into small groups, four by four, to talk, sing, translate words, how to count in each person's language, etc.
Every Monday, these meetings will be held, with dynamics, presentations and different activity proposals. An enriching way to stay in touch from a distance.
