The 4th year ESO students will be carrying out the following activities on February 12 and 13: Basic Skills tests prepared by the Department of Education of the Generalitat.
The first day, the tests were those of English, math and Catalan language And on the second day, it was the turn of the Castilian language and the evidence of the scientific-technological area.
The test is informative, formative and guiding for students and schools. It is an educational activity and, as such, is mandatory, since it is configured as a right and a duty of the students.
The tests do not assess all the content and knowledge of the fourth year of compulsory secondary education, only some of the skills that students need, both to continue studying and to enter the world of work.: understand what they read, express themselves clearly and correctly, have a basic level of a foreign language, know how to solve mathematical problems similar to those that have to be solved in everyday life and find solutions to diverse situations using scientific and technological knowledge.
