AFA CreaNova is much more than just an association: we are a meeting point for families and the school, working together to make our children’s educational journey an unforgettable and enriching experience.
What Do We Do at AFA?
AFA CreaNova serves as the link between families and the school. We are dedicated to fostering close, clear, and consistent communication between all members of the educational community. At the same time, we carry out various initiatives to support both students and families.
Our main actions include:
- Regular meetings with the school management team to discuss suggestions and needs.
- Organising recreational activities, charity initiatives, and educational workshops.
- Collaborating with the school library and welcoming new families.
- Solidarity That Knows No Borders:
One of the most exciting projects we have undertaken is our collaboration with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation to build a school in Kotakonda, India. Thanks to our collective efforts, last year we raised nearly €1,000 and sponsored 14 children, giving them access to quality education.
Projects for the 2024-2025 Academic Year:
This year, we have prepared new initiatives to continue contributing to this solidarity project:
- Charity markets.
- Fundraising races.
- Cultural workshops about the region where the school is being built, aiming to raise awareness among our children about different realities.
Family participation has been outstanding so far, and we are proud to see how we work together toward a common goal. These activities are a fantastic opportunity to show our children the value of solidarity and the positive impact they can have on the world.
Educational Workshops and New Initiatives:
This year, we are also focusing on organising workshops for families and students, addressing important topics such as sexuality and online bullying. These sessions aim to equip participants with tools to better face everyday challenges.
As a new initiative, the Welcome Committee plans to encourage family meetups and excursions. These activities will be an excellent opportunity to get to know each other better, build connections, and, above all, have a great time together.
