CreaNova School: Renovated Spaces for the Future of Learning

The renovation project transforms CreaNova School into a modern educational environment tailored to the needs of the 21st century.

With an investment exceeding €2.5 million, the reform and expansion plan at CreaNova School focuses on creating spaces that foster creativity, collaborative learning, and a connection with nature. This three-year project aims to enrich the educational environment to meet future needs.

The Baccalaureate wing has undergone significant transformations, including the addition of the new Quimlab, a 100 m² laboratory fully equipped for 24 students, and the upgrade of the Tecnolab, a 200 m² space dedicated to computing and robotics. The Tecnolab now features 23 computers and specialized software for 3D printing and programming.

Additionally, the first floor has been renovated to include a 110 m² teacher’s lounge with 30 workstations, a meeting room, and a relaxation area. This space connects directly to a new study room, where students can study or chill out. Nearby, a chess corner has been established to promote skills such as concentration, problem-solving, and logical thinking.

On the ground floor, two new Baccalaureate classrooms have been built, featuring ergonomic and aesthetic furniture that enhances both functionality and appearance. A new visual and plastic arts classroom have also been inaugurated, fully equipped to stimulate creativity in the art.

Baccalaureate students now enjoy independent access located in a garden area currently under renovation. This outdoor space will include rest and leisure areas, encouraging a closer bond with nature.

Regarding sports facilities, the football field has been upgraded with a sand layer to improve its durability and usability under various weather conditions. The dining hall has also been modernized with updated furniture and lighting to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, a new area with water fountains and recycling bins has been introduced, promoting healthy eating habits and a sustainable approach.

The academic leadership team now enjoys a newly designed space that serves as both a work area and a meeting room, while the executive management team has two additional offices for administrative and communication tasks, enhancing efficiency and interdepartmental collaboration.

These renovations complement last year’s refurbishment, such as the digital music room and the podcast space, reflecting CreaNova School’s commitment to cutting-edge education and the values of innovation, creativity, and sustainability that define its identity.
