Transition from Childhood to Adolescence.

The Middle stage at CreaNova comprises the 5th and 6th grades of primary school and 1st year of ESO, marking a crucial transition period between childhood and adolescence. During this stage, students undergo important cognitive and emotional changes that determine much of their future development.
As they enter adolescence, their emotional world transforms significantly, with internal processes that can be overwhelming for them and their environment. Adolescents begin to define their identity, establish deeper social bonds and search for a life purpose, while facing academic, family and social challenges. For this reason, at CreaNova we believe that emotional support is a fundamental part of this stage.
It is not only about students acquiring academic knowledge and skills; it is also essential to equip them with the emotional tools to manage their well-being, communicate assertively and make responsible decisions. In this context, our approach is based on creating a safe and supportive environment where students feel listened to and valued. This accompaniment not only addresses specific problems, but also fosters key skills such as resilience, empathy and the ability to manage and resolve conflict.
At CreaNova, we implement strategies such as individualised tutoring and open conversation spaces to reinforce the emotional development of our students. These initiatives help them to feel supported in their process of self-discovery and personal strengthening.
The entire CreaNova team works in a coherent and positive way to serve as role models in understanding and regulating emotions. This holistic approach not only facilitates the acquisition of academic knowledge, but also helps students discover and strengthen their emotional identity, preparing them to successfully face the challenges of this stage and beyond.
